KOSSA is a French group of electronic music labeled "French Touch" from Paris, composed of Hakim Brahmi under the alias of AkimColor (singer and multi-instrumentalist) and Frédéric Brigaud under the alias of Fredd B (DJ and sound engineer / producer ).
Active since 2017, KOSSA has the distinction of mixing funk riffs with electro house sounds. KOSSA is a Cameroonian word which means "Dance" in relation to their dancing music and their links with Africa.
Both have a very great musical culture. All of them have been cradled in funk, soul, jazz, acid jazz, rock ... We feel this mixture in their refined compositions with sophisticated chords, influenced by the electronic sounds of today.
It is while working for a common artist that Hakim meets Fred in his recording studio. The collaboration happens so well that both decide to continue for other artists. After a while, the idea of creating KOSSA comes naturally to them. They decide to let their musical passion and their influences speak with no limits. This is how the title "Music" emerged as a tribute to their common passion. A very funky and dancing piece that seems to please all generations. Sometimes they appeal to other singing artists to interpret their songs as "Let's the music play"
